U.A History
This history of U.A is written from the perspective of Lady Purple with Contributions from Tonia and Uviteru.
How it started:
It all started back in 2007.
I was a bit bored and spent alot of time searching for a free online game to play. I stumbled upon Travian and started an account on s5 under the name Purple. I was hooked within days.
A couple of weeks or so in I was raided by some guy who had 100 clubs, his name was djada and this is when I realised that in order to play this game you needed to have friends.
I Found an alliance that looked ok. S.o.D it was called. Star of Dreams. Total looser alliance, it was led by a 13 year old girl who was active maybe once every 2 days (LOL)
It had some ok people in it though, some were neighbours. We all offered the leader our help and could we help recruit etc, but there was no one to lead, and the 13 year old wanted to be in charge.
I quickly joined 2 other servers, to practise the different tribes, and joined as many alliances as I could, if they were crap, I left.
A month or so later I still hadn't found a single alliance that actually cared about its members. It was all about sending stuff and doing what you were told, but when you needed something no one cared.
At this point I had managed to make friends with djada and my neighbour Mattydnobody. Djada was now my protector and would send anyone who raided me a nasty message,
he was the biggest player in the area after all. 3 villages or something! After a while I felt I had done my homework, and if I couldn't BE in an alliance that was what I wanted, then I would create one.
Mattydnobody wasnt to sure, even though S.o.D wasnt exactly protecting us, it did have a fair few members. I promised him it would be ok - we had our protector djada after all, and eventually he said yes.
I told Matty what my "vision" was and he came up with our name. U.A, so... U.A, or United Alliance was born, and MattyDnobody was our first member.
The first U.A born.
U.A quickly recruited around the immediate area, and some not so immediate too, after all, they were new at the game.
Holy Limes, cb3inc, CalWind, absolute, serapis, antonna, uviteru, moz, Phinehas and many more joined their ranks.
In U.A no one was laughed at for not knowing everything, instead, they learned together and taught the new players.
Then the problems started. CWL the most aggressive alliance on the server who outnumbered U.A by over 8 to 1 and happened to share the SW with us, set their eyes on U.A. First they wanted to get all the top players and farm the rest to deletion.
When that plan didn’t work they decided to erase the alliance from the travian map and they were in for a big surprise!!! Instead of running and hiding, U.A fought many big battles with pride and glory, and big casualties too for such a small alliance, they managed to crush huge CWL armies with great teamwork, leading Purple to the top ranks in defense.
Purple's 6 cropper capital still stood proud as all of U.A stood strong and united in defense protecting it, like a small Island in a stormy ocean.
U.A quickly learned to be expert defenders, but even more so, they learned that anything is possible when you work as a team. They were able to croplock and 0 pop several CWL villages, and although it mattered little to CWL, it was a huge Victory for U.A.
End game came and U.A, although fewer in numbers, were still alive, even more determined then ever to be part of the WW race.
U.A went to Semper (The only major meta left opposing CWL in endgame) offering their help.
Neo, the leader, could clearly see that the very small one winged alliance had potential, after all, had they not been to war with CWL and survived to tell the tale?
The friendship that was formed during the end of that server was strong and it lasts until today.
CWL won the server but U.A and Neo’s alliance were determined to win the next.
A new server
U.A started their second server 5 at restart. This is when Purple - fed up of people assuming she was a man - changed her name to Lady Purple.
They were smarter this time (no more 6 crop capitals) and recruited hard from the start, setting strict requirements for their members to meet.
Many former CWL - who had come to respect them- joined their ranks as members and council.
U.A grew and before long had 5 wings all run as one unit.
U.A enemies were hiding in the dark, using a new alliance ran by Darthvader as puppets for their sole purpose : To erase U.A from the map before it was too late.
So war it was from the very beginning of the server when a 20 cata army was considered HUGE. SA had a Defensive wing later known as PDM, they were to be sacrificed like lambs at the slaughter by darth, but they soon realised this. PDM remained neutral, not getting involved in the conflict.
When Dart asked PDM to secretly defend them PDM went to talk to U.A instead, this put them in a very favorable position with U.A which eventually saw them become valuable and much respected allies.
SA were very soon disbanded and disillusioned. Darth was never heard of again.
Then came IB/AB. A two wing alliance leaded by one of the smartest military brains... Zileas. U.A had a NAP with IB, a very fragile NAP. When Zileas gave away his account all hell broke lose.
The remaining IB players had two goals. To destroy U.A, not very original at that point, and to crush the comradeship with Neo and his team.
Many bloodbaths later IB was the ghost of a once truly fearful alliance. Eventually disbanding completely under the constant bombardment of tireless U.A armies.
U.A's friendship with Neo and his alliance stood stronger than ever despite half the servers Efforts to poison that relationship. After many months of fighting, Endgame was finally approaching,
Leaving only one honourable way to finish the game : Together as one.
That was the first time EVER in all travian history where all wonders belonged to a single META.

Almost every UA player I have met has thanked me for introducing them to the best alliance they have ever been in.
Instead I have to thank them, because without them there would be no U.A. U.A is a family, and a family is a unit because of everyone in it.
We stick together, we dont run from threats or danger, we stand tall, as a unit, we fight together, because we want to, not because we are told to.
We are back again, with old friends and new, to write more U.A History. S5 2010, here we come.......
